Museum Passes

We are excited to provide museum passes for our patrons to borrow. Please review all the information below before borrowing one of the passes. Currently we offer the American Museum of Natural History, the Intrepid, the Museum at Bethel Woods, and the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum.  

Museum of Natural History

The Marlboro Free Library has American Museum of Natural History vouchers in its collection. The vouchers are available to Marlboro Central School District Residents only with Library Cards in good standing. The vouchers must be picked up at the Library. Availability of the vouchers is on a first-come, first-served basis. Vouchers are not replaceable or reusable, and quantities are limited.

  • Vouchers are limited to one per library card, and four per household per 12 months.
  • Restrictions on use of the voucher are set by the Museum’s membership policies, and it is the borrower’s responsibility to verify the Museum’s hours and operational schedule before visiting.
  • Each voucher is good for one general admission to the museum and any one special exhibit, film, or live animal of the patrons choosing. No voucher is needed for children under two years of age.
  • The Museum may ask to see your Marlboro Library Card, along with the voucher, and a Photo ID.

 

Intrepid Museum

    The Marlboro Free Library has an Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Family Pass in its collection.  The pass is available to Marlboro Central School District Residents only with a Library Card in good standing (no fines due or lost/overdue items).  The pass must be picked up and returned to the Marlboro Library. Availability of the pass is on a first-come, first-served basis: at this time reservations or requests for specific dates to use the pass cannot be made. The pass is listed in the catalog. Search “museum pass” in the catalog’s title search box to see if the pass is currently checked out or might be available to borrow. Holds/Reserves cannot be placed on the pass.

  •  The Library membership pass allows for free general admission during public hours for six (6) people total once per day.
  • Restrictions on use of the pass are set by the Museum’s membership policies, and it is the borrower’s responsibility to verify the Museum’s hours and operational schedule before visiting.
  • Borrower must be an adult.
  • The loan period for a pass is 3 days.  NON-RENEWABLE.
  • Late fines will be assessed at $5.00 per day. The Pass will be considered lost if not returned in 7 days.
  • A lost pass will result in a charge of full replacement cost of membership ($500).
  •  The Museum may ask to see your Marlboro Library Card, along with the membership pass and a Photo ID.

 

  Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum

The pass is available to Marlboro Central School District Residents only with a Library Card in good standing (no fines due or lost/overdue items). The pass must be picked up and returned to the Marlboro Library. Availability of the pass is on a first-come, first-served basis: at this time reservations or requests for specific dates to use the pass cannot be made. The pass is listed in the catalog. Search “museum pass” in the catalog’s title search box to see if the pass is currently checked out or might be available to borrow. Holds/Reserves cannot be placed on the pass.

  • The Library membership pass allows for free general admission during public hours for the entire family which includes 2 adults (parents or grandparents) and all children under 18 from one household.
  • Restrictions on use of the pass are set by the Museum’s membership policies, and it is the borrower’s responsibility to verify the Museum’s hours and operational schedule before visiting.
  •  Borrower must be an adult.
  • The loan period for a pass is 3 days. NON-RENEWABLE
  • Late fines will be assessed at $5.00 per day. The Pass will be considered lost if not returned in 7 days.
  • A lost pass will result in a charge of full replacement cost of membership ($250).
  • The Museum may ask to see your Marlboro Library Card, along with the membership pass and a Photo ID.
  • Patrons may not use the membership pass for free admission when attending birthday parties or group tours.

 

The Museum at Bethel Woods

The Marlboro Free Library has a Museum at Bethel Woods Pass in its collection. The pass is available to Marlboro Central School District Residents only with a Library Card in good standing (no fines due or lost/overdue items). The pass must be picked up and returned to the Marlboro Library. Availability of the pass is on a first-come, first-served basis: at this time reservations or requests for specific dates to use the pass cannot be made. The pass is listed in the catalog. Search “museum pass” in the catalog’s title search box to see if the pass is currently checked out or might be available to borrow. Holds/Reserves cannot be placed on the pass.

  • The Library membership pass allows for patrons to receive FOUR admissions to the Museum.
  • Restrictions on use of the pass are set by the Museum’s membership policies, and it is the borrower’s responsibility to verify the Museum’s hours and operational schedule before visiting.
  • Borrower must be an adult.
  • The loan period for a pass is 3 days. NON-RENEWABLE
  • Late fines will be assessed at $5.00 per day. The Pass will be considered lost if not returned in 7 days.
  • A lost pass will result in a charge of full replacement cost of membership ($225).
  • The Museum may ask to see your Marlboro Library Card, along with the membership pass and a Photo ID.
