Submitted by on – No Comment

In her 49th year of teaching dance and working with area youth, Anita-Jean McMonigle, owner of the Anita-Jean Dance Theatre, has once again donated the proceeds from its annual dance recital to the Marlboro Free Library.  The $3214 donation brings the Theatres total donation to the Library to over $38,000.

“We are overwhelmed by Anita-Jean’s generosity towards the Library”, said James Cosgrove, Library Director.  “Her funds will be used to help support youth programs at the Library”.  Anita-Jean has worked as choreographer for many local theatre groups and has also run recreational dance/gymnastic programs for the Town of Marlboro. The Anita-Jean Dance Theatre is located at 12 Camelot Drive, Marlboro.  Classes are available for students aged 2 and up, and include offerings in Tap, Ballet, Mommy and Me, Pre-school Dance and more.  Call 236-3969 for more information.
