Job Help Lab on Wednesdays

Submitted by on – No Comment

The Job Lab is back to help those searching for jobs prepare for the hunt. Take advantage of a myriad of library databases and resources like JobNow! and its Adult Learning Center, GALE Vocations and Careers and other helpful links. Use these resources with your library card to create professional resumes automatically, get interview and job search help, access practice tests and study guides, search for New York state job openings and more!

The Library transforms the community room into a career center for two hours on select Wednesdays.  Six laptops and a dedicated printer are available for job seekers who pre-register to use the lab, though walk-ins are welcome if there are any stations free.

For the month of March, the Job Lab times will alternate between mornings (9:30-11:30 a.m.) and afternoon sessions (3-5:00 p.m.).

The Job Lab will be set up on:

March 8, 2017: 9:30-11:30am

March 15, 2017: 3:00pm-5:00pm

March 22, 2017: 9:30am-11:30am

March 29, 2017: 3:00pm-5:00pm
