Online Resources and Learning Fun

KIDS-PORT-BUTTON Kids’ Port
Welcome to the Kids’ Port! The site was carefully designed by librarians in the Mid-Hudson Library System for children from preschool to age 10 and their parents. We hope you have fun playing the games, finding great books and much more at your local library, thinking about ways to help your community, using the homework help sites and learning to be safe. As always, parents are encouraged to explore the Internet with their children to find sites appropriate for their reading and maturity levels.

Tumblebooks Tumblebooks
Want to read and listen to some great children’s books? You can either have the text read to you or read the pages yourself. Look for some great games too!.
Note: you will need a Flash plugin, so look for the link to download Flash on the Tumblebooks site. A faster speed Internet connection may also be necessary.
