We are excited to share that construction continues to move toward completion at the Library! While the major work is behind us, we are still working through the final details that will help bring the renovated space fully together.
A few remaining items have been impacted by shipping delays, including the new front step railing and the acoustic paneling for the Children’s Section. Our contractors are also continuing to complete final punch list items and make the last adjustments throughout the building to ensure everything is working as it should.
Once these final pieces are complete, our Route 9W entrance will be reopened, and we will begin bringing toys and additional materials back into the Children’s Section. We know many families are looking forward to having those familiar spaces and activities fully restored, and we appreciate your patience while we finish these last steps.
We anticipate returning to our regular morning hours in early September. Thank you again for your continued understanding and support throughout this project. We are so grateful for our community’s patience as we work to complete these improvements and create a better space for everyone to enjoy!
