Library Construction Update!

As the Library is in the final stage of construction, we have some important updates to share!

 

Delayed Opening – June 9

The final rooftop HVAC units will be installed on Tuesday, June 9. Due to the crane work and related construction activity required for this installation, the Library will have a delayed opening and will open at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, June 9.

Temporary Closure – June 22 through July 5

Furniture installation is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 22! To allow crews to safely complete the installation and for staff to organize and prepare the renovated spaces, the Library will be closed to the public from June 22 through July 5. The Library will reopen for express services beginning Monday, July 6. The Library expects to resume normal operations sometime this August.

Holiday Closure & Summer Hours

Please note: The Library will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. In addition, summer hours begin on Sunday, June 21, and the Library will be closed on Sundays through September 6.
