Dark Side of Marlboro Walking Tour

Jail breaks, mobsters, murders, a con man on the run? It didn’t happen in Marlboro….Or did it?
Join us on either Sunday, October 23 or 30 for a spooky walking tour through the village of Marlboro. Gather in the Marlboro Library side parking lot and begin your walk through town, where guides will take you to various historical sites and relate long forgotten tales unearthed in our Local History Collection and old newspapers. Arrive early for your tour and enjoy seasonal refreshments provided by the Friends of the Marlboro Library.
What you need to know:
-There will be a 6:30 p.m. tour on October 23.
-There will be a 4:30 and a 6:30 p.m. tour on October 30
-Meet in the Library side parking lot.
- In-person registration for this event is required. Spaces are limited. Tickets are $10 each and are available at the circulation desk.
- This tour is for ages 18 and up, ages 12 and up permitted if supervised by an adult.
- Sneakers or comfortable footwear is recommended as we will walk about 1.5 miles at a brisk pace (walk at your own risk).
- Please arrive early, tours leave promptly at their start times. Enjoy refreshments provided by the Friends of the MFL before the tour starts.
The rain date for the tour on October 23 will be Monday, October 24, same time, and the rain date for the tours on October 30 will be Monday, October 31, same times. Registrants will be contacted in the event rescheduling is necessary.
