Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence

September 29-October 3

At the Library during temporary in-Library hours

The Library invites you to a special exhibition in celebration of the centennial anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment. Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence explores the complexity of the Women’s movement and the relevance of this history to American’s lives today. This poster exhibition will also feature a local component, showcasing how Marlborough played a part in this narrative.

This poster exhibition is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery.
