New Podcast Series Now Available on the Library’s Discover Marlboro App!

This past winter, the Library was awarded a Libraries Transforming Communities grant from the American Library Association, to help identify how the Library could use its Discover Marlboro app to support local business owners in the community. As a result of a series of community conversations, the Library has created a podcast series, The Story of Marlborough: The Past, Present, and Future, to share the individual stories of the businesses who participated in this project and to highlight our community.

Each week, starting on July 13, look for a new podcast episode or a historical write-up of a landmark in Marlborough, on our Discover Marlboro app.

To listen to the podcast, the Discover Marlboro app can be downloaded for free at the Apple and Google Play Store or can be listened to in your browser.

The Story of Marlborough: Past, Present, and Future podcast series was made possible by a Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries grant from the American Library Association.

“Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries is an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL).”
